Indian's Religion
India is the birth place of hinduism,Buddism,Jainism,and Sikhism,Collectivelly known as Indian Religions. Indian Religions,also known as dharmic religions are a major form of world religions along with abrahamic one. Today Hinduism and Buddism are the worlds third and fourth largest religions respectively, with over 2 billion followers al together, and possibly as many as 2,5or 2,6 bilion followers.
India is one of the most religiously diverse nations in the world, with some of the most deeply religious socities and cultures. Religions still plays a central and definitive role in the life of many it's people.
According to a 2002 census of India,the religions of 80% of the peopleis Hinduism. Isam is practise by oroatians, over 19 million sikhs, about 8 million Buddhist and about 4 million jains.
Sikhism, Jainsm, and especially Buddhism are Influential not only in India but accross the world. Christianity, Zoroastianism, Judaism,and the Baha'i faith are also influential but their numbera are smaller Atheism and agnostics also have Visible Influense in india, along with a celf ascribed tolerance to other people.
The Hindu religion has many school, each with their own unique views. For example, according to yoga vasistha, a spiritual text of the of advaiks school Hindu religions the values of the liberated.
